What type of clients do you enjoy working with most?
I enjoy working with our estate planning clients.  Drafting an estate plan is sometimes a sensitive subject, and I really enjoy supporting our clients to make the experience as positive as possible.

What is your greatest professional accomplishment?
I am extremely proud of how I’ve been able to grow and develop within the firm. I started at Bloom in 1989 as a legal assistant. Now, 30+ years later, I am a paralegal and still as committed to the work as I was back then.

When is a time you felt you made a meaningful difference for a client?
Over the years we have had many clients who have lost a loved one. I always feel that it is important to show compassion and go above and beyond for them in their time of need. Often the surviving spouse or family can feel overwhelmed with grief and a sense of responsibility. Knowing that I have helped to alleviate some stress during a very emotional time is a constant reminder of the importance and impact of our work.

What do you think makes Bloom special?
From the beginning of the firm, the values have remained the same. I don’t know how many businesses you can honestly say that about. Each client is important, and we dedicate the same time and attention to their situation as we would to a beloved member of our own family.

What did you do before you joined Bloom?
The majority of my experience was in retail. I believe that experience was invaluable in that it taught me how to work with people.

“I enjoy traveling, including shopping in Paris, touring South Africa, and seeing the home of Stephen King (I’m a lover of horror books) in Maine (oh yeah, we ate lots of lobster too!).”

Sports

I love the game of tennis and play both socially and competitively.
